Our local MP, Mark Todd, visited us during our Aim High Week in the summer of 2005.

Our special week was all about success.

We found out all about different jobs and discovered some of the things that we  could

aspire to do when we are grown up.

Mr Todd visited us to talk about his very important job as a member of parliament. Children also had

the opportunity to ask him many questions. Whilst in the 'hot seat' we heard about an MP's qualities,

some of the things they do, it's rewards and difficulties and something about the man behind the job too.

We were also very grateful to Mr Todd as he helped the school council to plant a tree that had

replaced one that has had to be cut down earlier in the year be cut down earlier in the year.

We had other visitors on that day too...

Velvet Souls - a singing duo - came to perform.
