Class 5 (year 5 and 6) entered the Derbyshire Amateur Film and Television Awards during the academic year 2005 - 2006.

This was our entry:    Romance in Paris

...and guess what ... we won!

See the news on the Derbyshire County Council website - Film projects help with school curriculum

The ICT team at County Hall were quite impressed with us, and asked ICT co-ordinator, Mrs Jacqui Johnson, if she would be willing to talk about their experiences at the ICT conference - The Key to Learning on 23rd November 2006.

'As long as I can bring some children!' was the reply.

Here, you can see the children showing their audience how to use the Digital-blue cameras and software.

Together, we delivered a seminar to 4 different groups of people - teachers, head teachers, consultants - lots of whom we had never met!

We also had some great feedback!...

Very good, great to see how other people use digi-blue cameras.

         Excellent, informative and useful!

Lots of practical ideas - very informative thanks!

Super! - inspired to enter Our Shorts this year!- Lovely to see the children in action.

It was interesting to hear how the whole class worked towards the end product.

                                                       ...really enjoyed the workshop!

It's so nice to be appreciated!
