After the success of the Eureka Village
Show during summer 2007, we decided to hold a similar event at the
Christmas Fayre where the children could get crafty and try to be Best
in Show.
We were all very impressed again with the children's
efforts; the judges found searching for the winners very difficult.
Here are some of the entries...

Enormous efforts on the 3D scenes... Snowmen galore from KS1 and KS2.

Some children had really gone to town on their trees.
Pretty baubles.
Cards with highest detail. Perfect party hats.
Some of our children are very talented. Well done to
all of you.
Awards were given for entering (stickers),
commendations (certificates) and Best in Show received a certificate and
a reindeer tea light candle.
Staff, pupils and friend's of Eureka gave up lots of
their time to put on a whole range of stalls and activities for the
afternoon.
Toy tombola,
Chocolate and fruit raffle.
Where is Goldie's Christmas Treasure?
Pull a string - if you dare!

The famous Bottle Tombola.
The raffle.
Cakes, cakes and more cakes.
Thank you to every one that helped. Without everyone
pulling together, it wouldn't have been such a huge success. Thank you.
Of course - Goldie had to get in on the act - with his
own studio...

Summer Fayre 2008!

Our fantastic money snake made over £50!
What amazing face painting!
What was her name?

Come here little ducky!
CHRISTMAS FAIR 2008
The event was a great success - raising a
huge amount for the school's netbooks! A record amount!
Santa's Grotto was upgraded this year -
he was very impressed! We kept him well fed with hot dogs and mince
pies...

SUMMER FAIR 2009
This year we decided to try a Saturday
again...the 4th of July...what a beautiful day. Many of us got rather
red in the face, shoulders, arms...infact, a little sun burnt!
It was a super day though, the PTA did a
great job at organising and we raised over £800.
